If you’re at all like me, then you know the struggle of wanting to be good at running, while never in your life have you been good at running. It’s just not a skill that you have been naturally blessed with, and that is okay. Every so often, I inevitably think to myself that I should go for a run, and my thought process goes a little something like this:
-
Naively thinking that maybe this time will be different. Maybe you will finally be able to go for a pleasant jog and not feel like you could pass out at any moment.
-
First few minutes have gone by and you feel okay, a little sweaty, but you can do this.
3. At about the five minute mark, you start to get a little winded, sweat is dripping, breathing is heavy, but still you got this.
4. Seven minutes in, you’re bout ready to pass out, it’s time to call it. You’re done.
5. You vow to never go for a leisurely run unless someone is chasing after you.
You’re better off sticking with the elliptical from now on.
