Hello beautiful people!

Some of you may not know this but music consumes a large portion of my life. I love  and listen to all genres but you’ll mostly catch me listening to Electronic Dance music (EDM). I think my favorite sub-genre of EDM would have to be progressive house, electronic, and trap. Ironically my all-time favorite song is not a part any of those genres.

So, I’m going to share with you all my current top 5 favorite songs

1. Heart skips a Beat by Olly Murs ft. Rizzle Kicks

As a hopeless romantic, this song is just a cute and positive representation of being in love. It can bring me out of any foul mood I’m in.

2. Black and Gold by Sam Sparro

Black and Gold is a complex song and is one of the first songs I fell in love with when I first started using social media (waaaaay back then). My interpretation is, the singer is questioning his Christian faith with his mention of evolution and wanting to be close to “you” being God. My favorite lyric is “If vision is the only validation then most of my life isn’t real.”

3. Dream by Adventure Club Ft ELEA (NIGHTOWLS X Fransis Derelle Remix)

I don’t know what it is about this song but anytime I hear, I get the overwhelmed with emotion and a sudden urge to express it through dance.

4. Diamond by Datamatros (Joppe remix)

I can honestly listen to this song for hours. It’s definitely a slow vibey jam.

5. Fantasy by Alina Baraz and Galimatias (Pomo remix)

This is the kind of song you listen to on a warm summer night when you’re just chilling with good food and good company. It’s also got sort of a nostalgic tune to it.

These are just a couple songs I hold near and dear to me but if you’re on the lookout of new music I’ll leave a link to my Soundcloud! There, you can check out some of my likes and even some of the playlists I’ve put together.

Anyway, hope you all enjoyed!

Until next time!
