Now that it’s the end of October, the weather is definitely changing and temperatures are going down rather than up. With some areas of Massachusetts getting the first snowfall of the season this past Thursday, winter is on its way! Here’s how we know:
- You’re trying to decide when to turn the heat on in your apartment
- Some people are wearing gloves, hats, scarves and winter coats and others still have flip flops
- There’s possible snow in the forecast (AHHH!!)
- Everyone is sick
- You’ve started bundling up to walk to class and once you get in the building you’re hot
- *Most* people have switched from iced coffee to hot coffee except for those diehard iced coffee fans who will drink it in the dead of winter
- Everyone is walking quickly to class to get out of the cold
- Common areas on campus are more crowded because there’s free heat
- You have to get used to using your phone with gloves on again
- People are having to add layers to their Halloween costumes to compensate for the cold
