If there’s ever been a holiday we can get behind, it’s National Chocolate Day. Seriously, an entire day dedicated to chocolate?! What’s not to love? This holiday takes place on October 28th and is conveniently located right before Halloween meaning that chocolate is abundant in stores. Rather than just consuming copious amounts of chocolate to celebrate, try thinking outside of the box with these other fun ideas.
- Indulge in a Chocolate Face Mask. A healthy way to celebrate National Chocolate Day is with a rejuvenating chocolate face mask. This recipe for a DIY chocolate face mask only calls for 2 ingredients and will leave your skin feeling soft and smooth. Not to mention, it smells yummy enough to eat!
- Watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Another fun way to celebrate chocolate is by watching a classic, chocolate themed movie. Grab some friends and have a movie night with all kinds of yummy treats while you watch Charlie, Veruca, Violet, Mike and Augustus get lost in Willy Wonka’s land of sweets.
- Go Out for Dessert with Your Friends. Dessert is the best part of the meal, so why not just skip the meal entirely and go straight to the dessert part? Most restaurants have at least one signature chocolatey dish on their dessert menu, so order a few for the table and enjoy knowing that you’re an adult and having dessert for dinner is completely allowed!
