We’ve all experienced it: there’s snow in the forecast and Worcester is going to get hit hard. Naturally, we all turn into maniacs while holding out hope for a snow day because really, there is no better feeling than seeing that glorious email from Jack Foley pop up in your inbox announcing that you have the day off. If these are some of the thoughts that run through your head during the winter months, you’re not alone!
1. Better check my email 10,000 times to make sure I’m getting all the updates.
2. It’s 7:23 right now, there’s still an hour and 37 minutes left for them to cancel… *stares at clock until 9pm*
3. Let me check the WPI/Holy Cross/Assumption/Becker/Worcester State/Nichols/Anna Maria website to see if they cancelled…
4. Does the Snow Day Calculator still apply in college?
5. If there’s a snow day I’m totally going to bake cookies, catch up on reading, study for my midterms, do laundry, clean my room, clear my inbox, watch Netflix, have a movie marathon AND catch up on sleep!
6. Maybe the weatherman is wrong…better check Weather.com and the weather app on my phone and the Snapchat degree filter just to be sure.
7. Is anyone even outside right now? No? Definitely not leaving my room even if there isn’t a snow day.
8. YES! Snow day! David Angel is truly an angel.
