Active Shooter At YouTube Headquarters

Police responded to an active shooter at the YouTube Headquarters in California earlier this afternoon. The female suspect, who has been identified as Nasim Aghdam, is dead due to self-inflicted wounds, according to the police.

 

We are responding to an active shooter. Please stay away from Cherry Ave & Bay Hill Drive.

There are three victims being treated, according to the police. A 36-year-old man is in critical condition, and a 32-year-old woman is in serious condition.

Employees were evacuated from the building and patted down by police. When police asked for first-hand witnesses, about two dozen stepped forward.

Some thought it was a fire drill because the alarm went off, but others heard the first shots and then people running.

Sherman also added that he saw blood on the floor and stairs.

Senior Software Engineer Zachary Vorchies told the local ABC affiliate he heard someone yell, “Come and get me” after the gunshots.
