The Hardest Workout That I Still Can’t Fully Do

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Clark chapter.

I love working out. I try to do it every other day. This semester I’ve started to make the “other” off day be a yoga day too. Working out for me is a stress relief. It helps be to be able to cope with too many things going on in my life, and it also helps me just take some me time that I know I deserve.

I found this workout a few months ago. And I still cannot get through the whole workout. It’s sooo hard!!Ā

1 mile run (6 mph)

10 minutes on the minute: 10 pushups, 15 squats

2 rounds of: 50 jumping jacks, 30 mountain climbers, 10 burpees, 1 min plank

2 rounds of: 15 squat curl presses (15 lbs), 15 dumbbel lateral rises (12 lbs), 15 deadlifts (20 lbs)

1/2 mile run (7 mph)

2 rounds of: 15 jumping jacks, 10 plank jacks, 5 burpees

Just make sure you don’t push yourself too much. Don’t try and do this all if you aren’t ready. I still can only get right before the second run. But knowing your limits is important.

So go forth! Workout, and be safe!
