This week we sat down with one of our own team members, Gaby, and talked about her campus involvement and how she copes with finals season!
Tell us a little bit about yourself. My name is Gaby DeAngelis and I am a sophomore at Clark. I am majoring in sociology and concentrating in race and ethnic relations. Along with Her Campus, I am also on the field hockey team at Clark, a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and am on the steering committee for All Kinds of Girls (AKOG). You can probably find me re-watching The Office or 30 Rock on Netflix in my spare time.
What’s your role on the Her Campus Clark team? Just a regular member that writes once in a while :)
How do you stay calm through midterms/finals season? I schedule my time out to a T before the stress begins, adding in study times and study breaks, quick workout sessions, and maybe even a brief Netflix binge. I also just try to get as much done as early as possible to reduce the stress later on.Â
Vanilla or chocolate? If we’re talking ice cream, always vanilla, but if we’re talking candy, always chocolate.
Summer or winter? Summer. I love the sun.
Cats or dogs? Dogs!
Iced or hot coffee? Iced coffee always
Parks and Recreation or The Office? The Office
Thanks, Gaby!
