Fred Tugas became an official Clemson Tiger last February when he was accepted for his masters programs. From there he was “All in” as Dabo Swinney would say. Before he was even tiger town bound in May for his summer courses, he had all the necessities of a Clemson closet, orange on orange! He is from Norfolk, Virginia, born to a Filipino mom and dad. He loves diversity, adventure and sarcasm.Â

Why Clemson?
“I chose Clemson because I wanted a top ranked institution and program that was different from my undergrad, Old Dominion University. Clemson spirit and pride is like no other, so I knew I wanted to be part of the Clemson family ever since my first on campus visit”
