Clemson Gameday Checklist
We’ve waited and waited and watched the countdowns on our phone go down
day by day, and now… football season is finally here!! Whether this will be your
first Clemson football game or your 20th, the excitement doesn’t go away! The
first game is always packed full of fun. Here are some tips to get the most out of
your Clemson football experience this weekend:
1. Get a First Friday t-shirt!
Central Spirit is seeing First Friday t-shirts on Library Bridge this week for
just $10, don’t miss it! You can never have enough Clemson t-shirts in
your wardrobe.
2. Go to the first Friday parade!
This Friday at 6pm the First Friday parade will pass Bowman and go
through downtown Clemson. All kinds of organizations and groups will be
participating, so come and se who wins best float and Miss First Friday!
PLUS Tiger Band will be performing on Bowman. What could be better?!
3. When you go to the game, WEAR ORANGE
This seems like an obvious one, but you would be surprised to know that
there are people who show up to a football game not in Clemson orange.
Don’t be that person. Ladies whether its your game day orange dress, or
juts an orange t-shirt show your school spirit!
4. Cheer loud
It doesn’t matter if you’re a football expert or you’ve never watched a
game in your life, cheer as loud as you can! You’ll learn all of the cheers
and songs pretty quickly so don’t be shy or afraid to join in.
5. Last, join the thousands of your closest friends on the Tiger Paw to
sing the alma mater.
It’s the perfect way to end a great football game, and it’s a tradition you
don’t want to miss.
The game this weekend is at 12:30 against Wofford. Make sure you come early if
you want to get a good seat now that ticketing is general admission. See you in
