Everyone has heard of a mid-life crisis: the realization of being over-the-hill andÂ

young, hip twenty-year-old we all once were or still are, but I don’t believe peopleÂ

have heard of the “quarter-life crisis” than many of us have. Â

This phenomenon occurs around the age of twenty-years old, when we are allÂ

shedding the possibility of being a teen mom or releasing the teenage angst you’veÂ

had pent up since you turned thirteen. It starts out with the thrill of the epiphanyÂ

that you are now seen as an adult and ends with doing something slightly reckless toÂ

prove to yourself that you’re still a kid. It can be as tame or wild as you choose. Â
