Top 3 Places to Study On Campus In the Spring

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Clemson chapter.

Hello Collegiettes! It’s almost springtime in Clemson, which means sun, warm weather and sweet tea! With the weather getting warmer, and the semester being more than halfway done, we are more stressed than ever! Here are some of the best places to study on campus that supply both a peaceful yet aesthetically pleasing setting with the serene feeling of warmth and sunshine.

1. Bowman Field

Of course the first on this list is the beautiful and famous Bowman Field. In front of the clock tower of Old Main, Bowman Field is one of the most famous landmarks on the campus of Clemson University. On any sunny day, you’ll see students laying out, tanning, studying, playing volleyball, football, or even out playing with their dogs!

2. The Outdoor Amphitheater

Situated behind Brackett Hall, the outdoor amphitheater is one of Clemson’s most picturesque locations! This venue is used for outdoor concerts, Greek events and FCA meetings! Most days it is filled with students who want to take in the sun while also enjoy the subtle, moist breeze that comes from the reflecting pond right across the way.

3. The Reflection Pond

My absolute favorite location, the reflection pond is located right between the amphitheater and the Cooper Library Bridge. On a day when you want to get some homework done or just relax by the water, this serves as a more than capable location for both. Though more intense than it is at the amphitheater, the breeze at the reflection pond still feels great on a warm, spring day.

Now that you’ve been given some ideas of where to go, instead of staying in your room or going home where you’re bound to go to sleep, spend some time at one of these places. You’re guaranteed to be in awe of the natural beauty of our campus, which can help take away some of the stress that come with studying!
