If you’re anything like me, then one of the hardest parts of baking is actually finding something to make. With so many options out there, how do you narrow it down and choose only one thing to cook? Hopefully this will make the process a bit easier. Here are some of my favorite baking blogs, with hundreds of recipes for you to choose from for your next baking adventure.

1. Sally’s Baking Addiction (sallysbakingaddiction.com)

With desserts ranging from the classics like chocolate chip cookies and brownies, to unique foods like apple dessert pizza, this blog has a recipe for everyone. It also includes tips for mastering baking techniques so that you can become a better baker overall.

2. Joy the Baker (joythebaker.com)

This blog has categories for the usual desserts like cakes, cookies, and pies, as well as an entire section devoted to chocolate. But if you don’t have a sweet tooth, don’t worry. There are plenty of savory options like avocado fries or a tomato and pesto grilled cheese.

3. Love, Cake (lovecommacake.com)

With primarily dessert recipes, this is the blog for anyone with a sweet tooth. This blog combines elegance and sophistication with food to produce truly unique recipes that you can’t find anywhere else, like chocolate cardamom swirl bread and banana hazelnut bundt cake.

4. The Sugar Hit (thesugarhit.com)

Inspired by a comic-book design, this unique blog has recipes for all types of food, not just baked goods. These recipes include unusual flavor mashups, leading to foods like crème brûlée rice pudding or salt and pepper caramel brownies. They might sound weird, but I promise you they’re definitely delicious!

I am currently senior majoring in Business Administration and Statistics with a track in Finance at Carnegie Mellon University. Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, Enid Blyton and J.K Rowling are a few of my favorite authors. I also love watching British TV shows (Sherlock is my favorite!). On campus, I am involved in several activities, including Carnegie Mellon Business Association and Smart Woman Securities.
