Her Campus is known for having the most fashionable students as style representatives in their campus chapters. In our local chapter at Christopher Newport University, we have several aesthetic gurus and fashion girlies who rock their individualistic and unique taste in clothing around the school grounds. Now that the Fall season is in full throttle, we decided to interview each member of our chapter to alas decipher what are the best fashion trends and contemporary outfits to wear this chilly semester.
the results are in:
Allison: My favorite fall fashion is a pair of jeans, a tank top with a cute oversized cardigan on top and some heeled booties. That’s been my go to since I was in like middle school, and it’s such a classic look.
Chaeli: your basic granola fit: baggy jeans, hiking boots, Patagonia sweatshirt. A really dope beanie.
Shaden: oversized sweatshirt and sweatpants OR a cute sweater/ sweatshirt and jeans.
Madison: tank/tube top with a flannel or cardigan and mom jeans.
Shaunny: A cute flannel, Uggs, and leggings. We love neutral colors over here (iykyk).
Brooke: Blair Waldorf preppy Autumn vibes, complete with a plaid headband, heeled suade boots, and fashionable trench coat.
Gabby: combat/chelsea boots, jeans and black mid turtle neck or the crewneck with a short turtleneck underneath look, baggy jeans, and some Adidas Gazelles or Uggs.
Joey: white/tan/brown clothing; flannels are great!
Logan: a good flare legging w/ a long sleeve tee.
Emilie: classic Sweatpants and a Sweatshirt.
Nora: I’m a turtleneck under crewneck sweatshirt girl.
Zoe: I love wearing an oversized sweater over a tighter plaid skirt. Especially in colors like black, brown, white, and other neutral colors. It really screams Fall, showing off a bit of sweater weather and mixing it with some cute styles.
Cooper: I’ve always loved having big comfy outfits, big hoodies and baggy sweatpants are a go to!
Peyton: Skirt and sweater with tights and boots.
