Finals week is finally upon us, Captains. Whether you are stressing or procrastinating (peep me writing this article instead of my research proposal), here are eight times Norma Bates of Bates Motel was a little too relatable.Â
When you realize that yesterday was January and you’ve got a final tomorrow:
When that one person who never contributed to the group project doesn’t show up for the fourth time:Â
When your professor says they won’t curve the test:
Actual footage of me on reading day:
When your non-college friends are telling you how busy they are:
The point when you’re a millimeter away from giving up:Â
AND you’re a senior:
When you finally realize you will survive….and do:Â
“But Shannon,” you say, “that’s not Norma!” Or is it? *insert evil laughing that morphs into crying*.
Regardless of the outcome of finals week, always remember that you can do all things, Captains! You WILL survive finals, even if you haven’t started your final paper yet. So get typing, studying, throw in a quick cry in there, and go all Norman Bates of finals week. Good luck and HCXO!
