Understanding an ENFP

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at CNU chapter.

What is an ENFP (Extrovert, INtuitive, Feeler, Perceiving)?

They’re called “The Campaigner” and are known for their free-spirit attitude and energetic persona. They see how all things are connected and constantly strive to live in a world that is better than the last but on their own time. Here’s everything you need to know about being an ENFP.

ENFPs are idealists but know how to buckle down in the workplace as well. They have a fire inside of them that is unmatched by the other types due to their complimenting traits. However, sometimes their intuition gets the best of them, and they misinterpret the actions of others royally. This can cause issues between ENFPs and other types that simply act on logic rather than emotion and feeling.

They truly enjoy being around people and connecting, and are very good communicators. However, their curiosity and philosophical needs tend to leave them always wanting more, and always having a difficult time focusing on tasks, people, or situations. Their overthinking nature also can bring them excessive amounts of stress.
