Tired of your workout routine and want to try something new? Wish you had Monica Geller’s super toned arms? No matter the reason, mixing up your exercise routine is always a good idea. It keeps your muscles working hard and your mind more interested. However, it can be confusing and difficult to find new exercise routines all the time. Luckily for us, celebrity trainers often gossip about how they keep their clients in great shape. Some trainers have even given real routines that everyday people can complete on their own—or with a buddy—at the gym. In this article, you’ll find three great celebrity workout routines to try out on your next gym day.
Emma Watson
We know her. We love her. Emma Watson is basically the perfect role model. Not only is she beautiful, but she’s also intelligent, fiery, and courageous. It turns out that Watson’s workout routine is just as amazing as she is. According to an interview Watson did with Cosmo, her trainer Emily Drew puts her through thirty-minute workouts that focus on stretching, strength, and stillness. Each workout begins with deep stretches, then transitions into simple—yet effective! —strength circuits. Each workout ends with more stretching and three minutes of meditation. Check it out here.
Courteney Cox
This Friends star was stick-thin and gorgeous when the famous sitcom aired. Years later, her body still looks just as good. Plus, for being 53, Cox is extremely healthy and happy. In true Monica Geller style, her workouts are intense and strict. Her trainer, Michelle Lovitt, explained that Cox focuses on arms and cardio more than anything. She devotes an entire day’s work out to arms, using resistance bands and weight to attack them from every angle. On other days, Cox runs treadmill intervals for 75 minutes and then finishes off the workout with a series of squats and lunges. Check out her routine here.
Jennifer Aniston
Another Friends star, Aniston was arguably the hottest girl of the 90’s. Still today, at age 49, Aniston looks extremely strong and toned. Aniston credits her long-time trainer Mandy Ingber for her lean muscles. Ingber mixes yoga with toning exercises to create a unique workout routine called yogalosophy. According to shape.com, Aniston begins her workouts by holding yoga poses for about a minute each. Then, she moves into completing total body yogalosophy moves. Aniston is also an avid spinner. For cardio, she completes thirty minutes on the spin machine. Check out her full workout routine here.
We hope you enjoy trying out these fun and effective workouts!
