4 Feminist Makeup Brands You Need To Start Supporting

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Coastal Carolina chapter.

March– she’s coming. That means it’s Women’s History Month, and while we should forever be supporting our sisters, March is the time to really flaunt our female pride. While make-up isn’t a requirement of representation as a female, we all need to be supporting our sisters! Here are four fantastic Feminist brands that you need to get your hands on, ASAP.

1.Spooky Cosmetics

I stumbled upon this Indie beauty brand a year or two ago, in one of my make-up groups that the founder, Jes Hillger, is a member of. Her hand-mixed highlighters, eyeshadows, and loose glitters are absolutely to die for, and she’s always releasing new products in fun colors that won’t hurt your wallet.

2. Carol’s Daughter

Carol’s Daughter specializes in hair care products for all hair types, as well as phenomenal skincare that smells amazing! The founder, Lisa Price, began creating hair and skincare products in 1993 with inspiration from her mother, Carol. Almost thirty years later, and they’re a beauty empire that has a story that’ll tug at your heartstrings.

3.Lipstick Queen

Specializing in lip products of all kinds, European brand, Lipstick Queen is no stranger to the beauty scene. Known for their famous Frog Prince lipsticks that change from green to a perfect shade of red, this brand keeps changing the lip game, and with a founder as cool as theirs, what more could you possibly want?

4. Wander Beauty

As a cult favorite, Wander Beauty never seems to disappoint. Inspired by travel, each product is small enough to throw into your purse on your next adventure. Their wide array of “multitasking beauty essentials” will be sure to blow your mind. What’s better? This chic brand was founded by model Lindsay Ellingson, who’s basically the queen of everything.
