1. Get a planner: Although we all have access to calendar apps on our smartphones, getting a planner to physically write events down in has been proven to make us remember those responsibilities better. Taking some time each day to fill up and organize your agenda book will give you more peace of mind and a concrete plan for your day.

2. Do assignments right after your classes: We all procrastinate, itā€™s inevitable. However, starting assignments right after your class will help you to retain information better and get a higher grade on the assignment. The information will be fresh in your brain, and it will reduce a huge amount of stress you feel because it will be done earlier. You will feel more accomplished after pushing through and you will be able to make more time to have fun with friends or attend club events.

3. Have a study buddy: Having a friend from your class to study with can make studying easier and more fun. Being able to quiz each other will improve your memorization of the content. You will also be able to learn from one another while hanging out!

4. Take study breaks: Your mental health is most important when it comes to stress. With that being said, if you are feeling overwhelmed while studying and doing your work donā€™t be afraid to get up and get a snack or watch an episode of your favorite show. This will leave you feeling refreshed. If you go into it with the right mindset, like not thinking about it as aĀ  distraction, you will be able to get back to work quicker with having more peace of mind.

5. Take advantage of office hours: We all have those professors that seem a little scary, but in reality thereā€™s nothing to be afraid of! There is no one who understands the content better than the person who is teaching it. So, if you are struggling to make sure you make an appearance at your professorā€™s office hours to clarify whatever you are confused on. Your professors will also see that you are working hard to get the grade you want!

6. Listen to music: Making a homework playlist can make the whole experience more enjoyable. Your favorite mellow, chill songs can serve as some helpful background noise to relieve some stress.Ā
