What are you involved in on campus?
The Bridge, PCB, The Writers’ Center, Multicultural Literacy, survival.
What’s your favorite Disney movie?
“The Sword in the Stone” because I really like stories about underdogs triumphing.
What do you want to be as an adult?
An activist/advocate.
What’s one girl trend you don’t understand?
Everyone wearing Barbour jackets but freaking out about wearing the same stuff, jorts that have the pockets coming out underneath the cut, enormous infinity scarves that look like they would be suffocating.
How do you handle being so good looking?
By using it to get men to buy me drinks at bars, by dressing up in ways that are so unrepresentative of myself (see associated photo), and questioning whether that’s even true.
What are your guilty pleasures?
Listening to songs that are stereotypically gay (Cher, ABBA, Whitney Houston) and rocking out in my room, charging good treats/food and especially juices and smoothies to my credit card and figuring out how to make the money later, shopping for underwear.
#1 pet peeve?
Crying infants on the plane or toddlers that kick the back of my seat on the plane/bus or parents that don’t check their children.
Oreos or Chips Ahoy?
Neither. Gimme a salted butter caramel macaron from Laduree instead. #BougieAsF*ck
Would you rather listen to the same one song everyday for the next 10 years or never listen to music again?
Listen to the same song everyday. I can’t live without music – I would probably go insane by day 3.
If you were granted three wishes by a Magic Her Campus genie, what would you wish for?
Balance in life, the ability to teleport, and all the carbs in the world.
What is your ideal date?
Doing something different and a little more creative/personal.
What’s your favorite song to dance alone in your room ridiculously to?
Currently, the “Brighter Days” bootleg by Bakermat. It’s such a great, happy, morning song!
What’s the highlight of your Colby career so far?
Seeing my dear friend and drag queen, Iris Spectre (Dylan Kepp) performing at Drag Ball last year. She was so amazing, and I FELT the difference in the vibe of the campus! It seemed like everyone was so much more into it than in years past!
What makes you different than the average Colby student?
I like to think I’m pretty self-aware of my position in relation to humanity. I value my free agency over being tied to perpetuating stagnant social illusions. I do what I want, I know what I believe in, and I welcome growth.
How did your first kiss go down?
I was at a friend’s birthday party, and we were playing truth or dare. I had to kiss a girl, and while I often employ that tactic in my cockblocking ways, I’m pretty sure that’s when I REALLY knew I was gay. #OUTANDPROUD
What Disney movie would you fit in perfectly and why?
“Mulan” because I’m Asian.
If you were President of Colby, which thing would you change and why?
Wow, just one thing? Well it falls between the food (because honestly, I get depressed when mealtimes come around), and having more community-building events where you can meet someone you’ve never met.
Best Loudness theme?
Scandalous Mormons.
