This week, we have not one campus cutie on the hill; we have two. Eric and Max Eberhart are brothers, taking Colby’s campus by storm for the one year they’ll be here together. You can spot them easily with their Sunshine-from-Remember-the Titans-esque flow—yes, they both have it. Their mix of sweets and sass have girls laughing and getting butterflies left and right. Look for Max on the football field this fall, and you’ll spot both Eberharts on the lacrosse field in the spring. All I can say is, what a lucky mother they have! So without further ado, I bring you Eric and Max Eberhart, the cutest pair of brothers on this campus.

What do you do on campus?
ERIC: I play lacrosse, and I also sing and write songs for a band.
MAX: Football in the fall, lacrosse in the spring, shenanigans all the time.
What’s one girl trend you don’t understand?
ERIC: Boots and jeans—every girl in the whole world wears the tight jeans tucked into the ridiculously tall boots come fall and winter.
MAX: Wearing just spandex. It seems like they forgot to put on shorts or they just came from a volleyball game.
What do you look for in a girl?
ERIC: Tolerance for flatulent-related jokes.
MAX: Definitely a good sense of humor. I like to laugh and make people laugh, so if I’m not getting at least a chuckle, then I’m not feeling it.
What’s your favorite pick-up line?
ERIC: Excuse me miss, I was digging through your trash, and I couldn’t help but notice that we might have a lot in common.
MAX: Baby there’s a Max in the water (singing of course).
Which moment in your Colby career would you most want to hide from your kids?
ERIC: Going full baboon at the senior lock in.
MAX: I don’t think I’ve been here long enough to have one stick out in my mind. Anything that happens in the Lodge gets a little wild.
If you had to be handcuffed to one person at Colby for the rest of your life, who would it be and why?
ERIC: Easy. Jed Rooney. Just an all around great guy.
MAX: Nate Morgan. Great dudeguy, and he’s a babe.
Who would you want to play you in a film?
ERIC: Leonardo DiCaprio. If you’ve ever seen What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, you’d understand.
MAX: Brad Pitt.
What’s the first CD you ever bought?
ERIC: Weird Al Yankovic’s Running With Scissors.
MAX: Back Street Boys “Millennium.”
What do girls like best about you?
ERIC: My “take-no-prisoners, alpha male” approach towards life.
MAX: No idea. My hilarious jokes? My beautiful singing? My sexy dance moves?
How do you guys get your hair to look so good?
ERIC: Don’t really know. I wasn’t gifted with height or grace, so maybe the hair makes up for it.
MAX: Genes, but it’s all about shampooing and conditioning once every other day.
What’s something quirky about you?
ERIC: I wear a helmet and a cape and wield sword and shield when I watch Game of Thrones.
MAX: I like to cook.
What’s your ideal party theme, and what would you wear to it?
ERIC: Wizards and hot chicks. I’d wear a robe and a pointy hat, and I’d carry around a wizard staff.
MAX: 80’s. Jorts, a cutoff t-shirt, and of course an American flag bandana. I love oldies music.
What’s it like having your brother on campus? How many people do you think have told you that you look alike?
ERIC: It’s nice having my brother here. I can look out for him and it reminds me that home isn’t far away. Everyone says we look alike. I agree that we do at first glance but upon further inspection you will find that my musculature is significantly more… practiced, if you will, and that my face is, for lack of a better word, handsomer.
MAX: It’s pretty cool to go to school together. This is the first time we’ve ever overlapped, so I don’t really know what to expect, but so far it’s been great. I can’t even count how many people have said we look alike.
What’s the one thing you are most excited about doing together at Colby before Eric graduates?
ERIC: Kickin’ butts and takin’ names. Arf.
MAX: Either playing on the same lacrosse team or spending a lot of time with him once I get some freedom after football.
What is something embarrassing about your brother?
ERIC: He was quite chubby when he was little and his nipples were actually inverted so my cousins and I took to calling him “Niblin.”
MAX: He spends more time in the bathroom getting ready to go out than our sister.
How is your mom going to react to this?
ERIC: She’s going to look up what role Leo played in Gilbert Grape.
MAX: She’ll love it. And then tell Eric to cut his hair. She doesn’t think his is as nice as mine.
How excited are you to be the first joint campus cuties in Her Campus Colby history?
ERIC: Stoked.
MAX: Quite.
