Get Ready For Doghead: 5 MOCKtails That Will Ensure A Great Weekend

These green themed non-alcoholic drinks will be a great addition to any and ALL St. Patrick’s Day activities!!

Mojito:

12 to 14 small mint leaves or 6-8 big ones

1 ounce fresh lime juice

2 tablespoons sugar

4 ounces club soda  (Sprite works, too)

Mix together the following ingredients!

Green Grape:

12 seedless green grapes

4 oz white grape juice

4 oz cold sparkling water

Freeze the grapes until hard. Combine 10 frozen grapes and grape juice in a blender and blend for about 20 seconds, or until smooth and thick. Pour the grape mix into a highball glass. Add the sparkling water. Stir gently. Garnish with the remaining 2 frozen grapes.

Milk Shake:

1/2 cup milk

1 scoop of vanilla ice cream or frozen vanilla yogurt

1/4 tsp mint extract

2 ice cubes

2 drops of green food coloring 

Splash of seltzer water

Dollop of whipped cream

Combine milk, ice cream or frozen yogurt, extract, ice cubes, and food coloring in a blender. Mix until smooth. Pour into glass, top with seltzer water, and finish with a dollop of whipped cream.

Limade:

1 Can of Limeade Frozen Concentrate

1 2L bottle of Lemon-Lime Soda

1 drop liquid green food coloring

Jelly Lime Candy for Garnish

In each glass, add 1 teaspoon of the frozen concentrate (straight from the freezer – don’t thaw it first). Fill the rest of the glass with the lemon lime soda, and add 1 drop of green food coloring. Garnish as desired.

Grapefruit n’ Lime:

2 parts grapefruit juice

1 part sparkling water

1/4 lime

1 drop green food coloring

Crushed ice

Ice cubes

Fill a shaker with ice and add grapefruit juice, sparkling water. Squeeze lime juice into shaker and add green food coloring. Shake vigorously until well combined. Pour into glasses filled with crushed ice. Garnish as desired.
