The first time I saw a hair wrap in a girl’s hair was when I was in first grade. Hair wraps were such a fad! I saw a stand for wraps in Disney World and my sister and I begged our father to let us get them. But being a typical dad (and not knowing what the hell a hair wrap was), he said no. I don’t think I ever asked for a hair wrap again because the fad died down pretty quickly.

Then this summer, all of a sudden, hair wraps made a come back! Everywhere magazine I opened featured hair wraps in the beauty section. I’d see girls on the street with hair wraps all the time. I thought the trend would die down again, but now it’s been almost 4 months and I’m still seeing them everywhere!

But hair wraps aren’t the only trends I am seeing these days! I’m also seeing feathers (just like a wrap, but a super long feather) and lots of braids. Whether you’re super creative and want to make a hair wrap on your own or just need a quick tutorial on how to make a fishtail braid…check out these websites for some ideas!
