Colby decided that instead of a week of spring break, two baby spring breaks are sufficient. I may or may not agree with this, but alas we are stuck with a two day break…
We might as well make the most of our baby spring break. First, I would say you need to know what you want to get out of break. Do you want to catch up on sleep? Catch up on work? Spend time with friends? Get off campus? Whatever your goal is you should plan ahead. Even though planning ahead is a hassle, you have to if you want to make the most of your time. Obviously you don’t need to plan out your sleep or exactly what you are going to do every second of the day, but if you and your friends are going to go off campus somewhere in Maine, sooner is better than later to figure out the logistics so you can enjoy your break instead of scrambling at the last second.
It is also important to remember that break is SHORT, so don’t try to do too many things because you will just be exhausted and we don’t have any more breaks until the summer. Do simple things like sleeping in. The weather should be nice, so it’s a great opportunity to spend time outside. You can order dinner and have a picnic outside. Having a movie night could be fun. Big G’s is a great option if you want to spice up your breakfast game with huge pancakes. Whatever you choose to do, change up your normal routine and enjoy the time off.
