Advice to underclassmen: Going into freshman year of college, my best friend gave me the best advice: she told me to be selfish. College is pretty much the only time in your life where you have four whole years to do whatever you want, try new things, and grow into the person you want to be. Do things for you! Take risks, and get involved in something you wouldn’t necessarily be involved in. If you’re on the fence about going to an event, GO. Colgate is an amazing place, and there is so much going on. Take advantage of it! Have no regrets. And finally, in the words of the great Ferris Bueller, “Life moves pretty fast, if you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss something.”
