This week’s Campus Celebrity is Jonah Bowman, a junior on the football team from Wyomissing, PA, majoring in History. Jonah shares his thoughts on the team’s season this year and their game in Texas this weekend.

Activities on Campus: “I’m a member of DU, a member of the football team, and a member of the service club”
Football Position: Kicker
Started Football: “My junior year of high school.”
How has the season been going so far for you? “The season has been going great so far. We are on a seven game winning streak and look to continue it going into the quarterfinals of the playoffs.”
On winning the Patriot League: “It was awesome to win the Patriot League this year, especially because this is the first time my class year has won it. It’s always a great feeling to win your conference and move on the the playoffs.”
Are you ready for Texas this weekend? “The team is definitely ready for this weekend. We have been watching film and preparing for Sam Houston State all week long.”
Is it hard being the underdogs? ” I don’t think there is any pressure being the underdogs. So far this season we have embraced that role, upsetting one team after another.”
How does it feel to be a campus celebrity? “I wouldn’t consider myself a campus celebrity. I’m just one of several guys who take the field every Saturday. It is the team as a whole who is a celebrity.”
