For the Solo Drivers:

Good Children Pod, hosted by life-long best friends Joe Hedges and Andrew Muscarella, takes you on a hilarious journey through childhood and early adulthood. Each episode has a new theme to reflect on the drama of Joe and Andrews’s lives growing up on Long Island and makes you feel like you’re in on the joke and a part of the friendship. This podcast is perfect for solo drivers who want the feeling of driving with friends.

If you grew up watching Tana Mongeau’s storytimes when you were way too young (like I did), this podcast brings you back to YouTube’s heyday. From personal dilemmas to LA scandals, Tana and her best friend Brooke dive into drama of all kinds. On their best episodes, they bring in Trisha Paytas, the canceled queen, to discuss the Vlog Squad, Colleen Ballinger, and so much more. If you live for the drama, this podcast is perfect for you. 

For the History Geek: 

  1. The Rest is History 

Historians Tom Holland (no, not Spiderman) and Dominic Sandbrook teach you everything APUSH didn’t in The Rest is History. I’ll be honest: I got this recommendation from my mom, so I was hesitant initially, but after listening to the episode “Roman Sex Scandals, Courageous Leader, and Napoleon’s Fate,” I was quickly convinced. With episodes spanning every location and time period you can imagine, this podcast will entertain every niche historical hyperfixation a person can have.  Bonus points: this podcast will make you seem and feel like a history major without the added workload.
