Here are a few Valentine’s Day goodies that can be made in your dorm room. The most labor-intensive recipe here requires no more than a trip to Price Chopper and a microwave.

Heart-Shaped Fruit Kebabs

Pick up some fruit (soft fruits like melon are easiest to use), and carve out some heart shapes. Using a heart-shaped cookie cutter will make this even easier, but a knife works, too.
Heart Confetti Chocolate Pretzels

To avoid setting off your dorm’s fire alarm and incurring your neighbors’ wrath, microwave the chocolate in short intervals, stirring frequently, on low heat. Dip the pretzels in the melted chocolate, top them with some sprinkles, and let the chocolate harden before enjoying.
