Hometown: The Village of Campbelltown, PA
What do you do on campus?: “I’m in the Mantiphondrakes acapella group, I am an intern in the Center for Women’s Studies, and I’m involved in CUTV and the Pep Band.”
Â
How did you get involved in everything at Colgate?: “I got involved in the WMST Center on a whim. I was at an LGBTQ mixer and met the Program Assistant who mentioned a job opening at the WMST Center, so I kind of just fell into it. Otherwise, I’ve just followed my interests and they’ve led me to where I am today.”
Â
What do you like best about Colgate?: “I appreciate the fact that there is a community here of open-minded and accepting individuals. I come from a small town, and people there are not always willing to accept people who are different than others.”
Â
What have you been up to this weekend?: “The Mantiphondrakes just had their first concert performance at the Barge this weekend and it went well! I”ve also just been trying to keep up with all of my coursework as I have a heavy load this semester since I’m in two independent studies, Intro to Women’s Studies, Costume Design, and a class on Pompeii to prepare for my upcoming extended study trip to Rome and Pompeii at the end of the semester.”
