There are people who don’t start listening to Christmas music as soon as November 1st hits. Some even wait until Thanksgiving and Black Friday come to pass. I am not one of those people. As soon as my Halloween costume came off, my Christmas tunes began blasting in my closet-sized dorm room. I love Christmas music. Christmas music is the superior genre of music (if it can even be considered a genre, but that’s not the point). For those who have been slacking on listening to the best Christmas tunes, here are ten of my favorite Christmas songs this year.

All I Want for Christmas is You by Mariah Carey

Quintessential Christmas song. Must blast at least 3 times in a single session.

 Last Christmas by Wham!

80’s Christmas music? Sign me up!

Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer by Dr. Elmo

Best song from the best movie! Am I right, folks?

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas by Frank Sinatra

Can’t go wrong with some Frank Sinatra.

Underneath the Tree by Kelly Clarkson

Upbeat, fun to dance to, and basically a grand ‘ole time.

I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus by Jackson 5

Yikes content, but lovely song.

Put a Little Love in Your Heart by Al Green and Annie Lennox

This gets me PUMPED.

 Santa Baby by Eartha Kitt

No words. Just stunning.

 Michael Bublé’s entire Christmas Album

It’s funny that you thought I would pick one song. Hilarious.

The Chipmunk Song by The Chipmunks and David Seville

THE MOST ELITE CHRISTMAS SONG!

Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holidays!
