Gilt vs. Rue La La vs. HauteLook: How to Know Which is Right for You
1. Know what you are looking for
One of the most important parts of shopping deal sites is to have specifics or an idea in mind of what you are shopping for. Because most deal sites have a multitude of brands and options, they will often block them into sections. Look for key words in the titles of the sections to help aid your shopping process. This will help you to not get too overwhelmed and guide your search to be more efficient.
2. Do your research
Some deal sites are more reliable than others, and while a site might look legit, make sure you read up on the subject. Read reviews from costumers who have shopped with the site before, make sure that delivery and product quality are up to par. Although there will be one or two bad reviews on any site you look at, the majority should speak to the quality of the website.
3. Compare options
There are a lot of deals out there! Make sure you look to a couple different websites and make sure you are really getting the best product for the best price.
4. Sign up for deals and sale alerts
Getting alerts when things go on sale and emails notifying you when to buy is ultimately the best way to get the lowest prices on items. But don’t wait! If there is something that you have been eyeing and it goes on sale, the sales don’t usually last long! Or worse, products do not stay in stock long!
