Starring Shelley Hennig as Blaire Lily, Unfriended follows a Skype call amongst a group of highschool friends. When an unknown user joins the call, things start to go downhill. The movie is rated-R and has 62% on Rotten Tomatoes.

As Above, So Below, directed by John Erick Dowdle and produced by Legendary Pictures, was released in 2014. Starring Peredita Weeks as Scarlette Marlowe, this film follows her exploration of the Catacombs of Paris in search of the philosopher’s stone. Supernatural forces pick off scholars from the group one by one, leaving the audience to wonder who will survive. The movie is rated-R and received 26% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Jessie and Mark Hobson, played by Kate Bosworth and Thomas Jane, foster eight-year-old Cody Morgan (Jacob Tremblay) after tragically losing their own son in a drowning accident. They quickly realize Cody isn’t what he seems when his nightmares begin to come to life. This film is rated PG-13 and received 63% on Rotten Tomatoes.

The Autopsy of Jane Doe, directed by AndrĂ© Ăvredal and produced by IM Global, was released in 2016. Father-and-son coroners, Timmy and Austin Tilden (Brian Cox and Emile Hirsch), encounter an unidentified body, which leads to the occurence of unexplained phenomenons in their morgue. This film is rated-R and recieved 87% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Await Further Intrusctions, directed by Johnny Kevorkian and produced by Shudder Films, was released in 2018. The holidays take a strange turn when a family wakes up to their house covered in a black substance and message flashing across the screen of their TV: “Stay indoors and await further instructions.” Tensions rise as more time passes, and the relationships between family members become strained. This movie is not rated and recieved 80% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Jenn, played by Kiersey Clemons, washes ashore on a seemingly inconspicuous island after being shipwrecked. She quickly realizes she’s not alone when a creature begins to hunt her down at night.
