What is the most interesting food you’ve ever eaten?
Hahaha, how about something as ordinary as grilled cheese? But on a serious note I would probably say Pad Kee Mow which my friend Squadra introduced me to. I am eternally indebted to her for introducing it to me! It is delicious.
If you could choose a world leader to have dinner with, who would you choose and where would you wine and dine?
I do not much approve of any contemporary world leader, but if I had a chance and I could go back in time, I would probably say Nelson Mandela. I would like him to introduce me to the local delicacies of South Africa, since as far as I can recall I have never eaten South African food!
Personal Motto: My personal motto is something I read once: “For what purpose must you cultivate wisdom? May you always ask yourself this question!”
Favorite Place on Campus: Shain Library since I love being surrounded by so many books, and I really like the air conditioner and the general aesthetic of these two buildings.
Do you have a favorite class or professor taken at Conn?
I really enjoyed a class that I took last spring with Professor Eileen Kane called “Soviet Union and its Legacies”. I loved the readings, the class discussions and what I learned.
How do you feel about being Campus Celebrity?
Surprised, honored and flattered simultaneously.
