Floralia 2017 Line Up Release: Week 5

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Conn Coll chapter.

In anticipation of Floralia’s 40th Anniversary, SAC will be releasing one act from the 2017 line up every Thursday at 5:30PM until April 8th at the official “Floralia Headliner Release Party”! Be sure to follow SAC on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to get all the latest Floralia news and updates.

The fifth artist to be released is Brooke Eden! Despite growing up in a city, Brooke’s music is country, with a combination of rock and soul. Brooke says that “the stories and meanings inlaid within the music” have connected her to country since she was a young child. Brooke was featured on Season 7 of American Idol, an experience she said showed her the good and the bad sides of the industry.

Her new EP, “Welcome to the Weekend”, features hits such as “Act Like You Don’t”, “Diamonds”, and “Silence Speaks”. Check out Brooke Eden on YouTube, Apple Music, and Spotify to hear more music!
