In recent years, celebrities have decided to go all-out with their Halloween costumes to the delight, and surprise, of many fans. Here are some of our favorites from 2022:

There were some great celebrity Halloween costumes this year, but my favorites were both worn by Lizzo. Lizzo had two exceptional costumes: Marge Simpson and Miss Piggy. These two iconic TV characters made for unique, but recognizable costumes. Lizzo went all out with the yellow body paint and two foot tall blue wig for Marge. She sported a very realistic pig nose for her Miss Piggy costume, which took the look over the top. Lizzo put her all in these two costumes, and it shows!

Keke Palmer’s Rapunzel costume was stunning, and now I absolutely need to see her as the live-action princess. She also dressed as X-Men’s Rogue and could not have looked better! And, I have to give major props to Lili Reinhart, Madelaine Petsch, and Camila Mended for their looks as the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus. The trio was absolutely perfect for these costumes with their corresponding hair colors and dresses for each character.

It wouldn’t be a Spooky Season without an appearance from the Queen of Halloween herself: Heidi Klum. In past years, she has pulled out all the stops as Fiona from Shrek, a flesh-eating alien, an ape, and, one year, the insides of the human body. This year’s costume, however, was shocking to literally everyone. When Heidi stepped out onto Amazon Prime’s blue carpet, she was a worm! Yes, a worm! Tall, grotesque, and hardly recognizable as the gorgeous woman underneath. A quick shoutout is also needed for her husband, Tom Kaulitz, who was appropriately dressed as a fisherman (although he, clearly, didn’t receive as much of the attention). Although this choice was not at all what I was expecting, it’s clear that Heidi won… yet again. I am excited to see what she pulls out in 2023!
