Denim is no longer the utility fabric it used to be back in the days of Levi Strauss. The every day aspect of jeans has designers getting more and more creative by the season. This Fall there are so many different trends! My top 3 are Chambray Shirts, Patchwork Denim and Color Blocked denim.

1. Chambray shirts. These cute buttons ups come in a variety of washes and are so easy to just throw on for a casual yet polished look. They can simply be put with a pair of jeans or have added flair with a bright or printed pant.

                                                                            GUESS $30 (on sale!)

                                                                                     J.CREW $78

2. Patchwork denim. No longer are the days of denim just being denim! This season touches of leather are accenting pants all over the place making for an interesting and engaging look.  These jeans are great for day to night looks and can be paired with a great flat or crazy high heel.

                                                                               Hudson $220

                                                                              Blank Denim $88

3. Color Block. This bottom heavy style lengthens legs for a thin, tall look.  Great for daytime events or a casual Friday, the colorblocking adds a touch of character to a typically standard look.

                                                                      MiH Jeans $90 (on sale!)

                                                                BCBGeneration $39.99 (on sale!)
