Meet the current catch on campus, Sam Legrand.  Wondering what he’s looking for? “A girl that is smart, easy going, and wants to travel the world. A girl that can get dressed up and go to an opera one night, and then get dirty and hike a fourteener the next.”  Go for it ladies.

Name: Sam Legrand
Year: Junior
Major: Integrative Physiology
Hometown: Littleton, Colorado

After college: Sam wants to travel for a year and become fluent in French, and maybe do some volunteer work in a third world country while he is out and roaming about.  Once playtime is over, this guy is on to medical school to become an Orthopedic Surgeon.

Favorite College Memory: After a long week of school my friends and I are always excited to go out and do some partying. My freshman year we would always go to my friend’s dorm room and pregame.  Before we left the dorms, we would turn off all the lights—except for one black light—and play the song, “Forever Young,” by Jay-Z.  However, we would always sing our own version, which we called “Forever Drunk.”

Favorite weekend activity: Sleeping in late and taking it easy.

Free time: I enjoy being active by hiking, skiing and working out, but I often find myself kicking back and enjoying a movie or reading a book.

Ski or Snowboard: Ski

Dream Job: To become an Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine.

Describe yourself in one word: affable

Favorite Quote: “Every man dies, but not every man truly lives.”
