It’s Christmas time! And it is never too early to start thinking about Christmas gifts for your friends.

I find the act of gift giving to be one of the most heartwarming Christmas traditions out there, and I am always on the hunt for new, genuine, and thoughtful gifts for my loved ones. In my search this year, I have already found some fabulous items for people with a wide variety of interests. Here are just a few ideas to get you started. Remember, it is not the amount of money you spend on a gift, but the love and care that you put into giving one.

For music lovers: A great gift for any friend that loves music or plays an instrument are posters of their favorite artists or bands. If they have a record player, get them a record of their favorite album to expand their collection. Amazon also has adorable glass album plaques that have customizable options with either a song or an album on it. These plaques are affordable (around 15 dollars), and are the perfect decor for any room.

For those in need of some selfcare: Everyone needs a self care night once and a while to destress and take some time for themselves. You could make your friend a basket filled with anything from candles, face masks, skincare, and makeup or even blankets, pillows, and fuzzy socks. An adult coloring book and some colored markers are also perfect for when you need to take a deep breath and unwind.

For sporty girls: If you have a friend that plays a sport or enjoys going to the gym frequently, there are numerous gifts they would love. For example, you could get them a gift card to Lulu Lemon or Athleta. You could also give them a cute water bottle and stickers to decorate it with, a baseball hat, or even a new gym bag. Anything from Dick’s Sporting Goods is a safe choice.

For your crafty friend: If you have a person in your life that loves to make crafts or pick up fun new hobbies, Michaels Craft Store has an immense amount of art supplies and starter crafting kits to interest anyone. Some of my favorite items to buy for friends are paints and canvas, bracelet making kits, and sewing items.

For bookworms: If your friend is anything like me and loves to spend their time getting lost in a book, they might enjoy a gift related to growing their book obsession. Etsy has customizable book embossers to personalize their own little library. You could gift them a copy of your favorite book, or if you know what is on their book wishlist, grab them a book or two off that list. Custom or interesting bookmarks are also super useful, and a booklover can never have too many.

For style gurus: If you know your friend’s style decently well, this can open up so many doors for stylish gifts. Some of my favorite jewelry comes from Etsy creators. They have everything you could possibly want, and each piece of jewelry is handmade and very unique.

For that random secret santa you don’t know well: We all know the struggle of being in a Secret Santa Swap with someone you don’t know too well. Some items that work for mostly anyone no matter who they are: fuzzy socks, Christmas decorations, mugs, a Target gift card, or gourmet candy. These are all pretty safe items that everyone would enjoy, so you can’t go wrong here!

As long as you are showing your love and appreciation for the person you are gifting, your Christmas present will be well received. As cliché as it sounds, the best gifts are the ones where you truly put time and thought into what to give a person. Now, get out there and start getting your gifts together before you’re stuck in the mall at 4pm on December 24th! Trust me, that is not a fun time. Best of luck and Merry Christmas!
