Spring Break, a time to have a mini adventure after stressing over midterms. A time to revamp your instagram and make memories. Well that is the cliche version. Because it can also be a time to change a life, whether it be yours or someone else’s. After spending 5 months in Australia and 2 months interning at a women’s homeless shelter, I decided that I wanted to go home for spring break. However, I didn’t want to just sit around at the beach and model at GUS all week. (Even though that sounds AMAZING). So I talked to my dad and he told me about this organization in LA. It’s called Saving Innocence and they work to end child sex trafficking. Next week, I am going to spend some of my break shadowing at Saving Innocence. I hope to find some guidance in what I wanna do with my major and see how lives can be changed. I am excited to see what I am able to experience and look out for an update after the Spring Break!
