Not everyone has an hour or more to spend doing themselves up in the mirror every day. So, if you want a few extra ten minutes in bed here is what you need to have in your bag that allows you to look fresh without the effort.

Concealer.
An absolute essential for anyone whose skin might be needing a little TLC. Believe it or not you really don’t need a full face of foundation every day. Anyway, coating your skin too heavily on a daily basis doesn’t give it any time to breathe. A little spot concealing or a dab under the eyes will have you looking fresher but in a beautiful natural way. I recommend L’Oréal’s true match concealer available at Boots for €10.50.

Mascara
To give yourself a wide-awake look, mascara gives your lashes some oomph without looking heavy. You’ll look like ‘I woke up like this! ‘One of my favourites is Essence’s ‘The False Lashes’ dramatic volume on sale in Penneys at an affordable price.
-
Powder
If you’ve got oily skin transparent powder is an absolute must have for touch ups throughout the day to stop you from looking too shiny! Rimmel’s Stay Matte powder is a staple.
-
Gloss
I keep a lip gloss in my handbag at all times and this really does give the effect that you put in some effort without actually doing a liquid lip or anything. I love Nyx’s butter glosses. They’re affordable and smell amazing.

Brows
You won’t look put together without your eyebrows done. They frame your face and so are actually important, even for a natural look. I keep and eyebrow pencil on me and if I don’t do any other part of my face I’ll still always have my brows done. I’m enjoying L’Oréal Paris Brow Xpert in the shade brown.
These are my handbag essentials which will hopefully save you time for those early morning lectures. Enjoy those extra 10 minutes wrapped in your duvet during the cool winter mornings.
