Hey Swifties, how are we doing after seeing the Era’s Tour?? (Albeit through a screen on TikTok live!) The Era’s tour first night happened the weekend I was doing the final edits on my thesis, so sorry college, I knew what my priorities were and idk if it was the thesis due for submission that Monday. But I had the time of my life (hehe) watching the entire concert on TikTok. Taylor Alison Swift is the most extra person in the entire world and I absolutely love her for it. Let’s discuss some of my favourite looks from that concert!
Fearless swishy number
Okay, let’s clear it up that although I haven’t been a lifelong Swiftie (Reputation turned me into a Swiftie), I love it so much that she went back to her yee-haw days. This sparkly gold number which has different variations (some days its long fringe, others it’s short sparkly fringe) is so cute and country and I adore it. Roberto Cavalli is the designer behind these stunning numbers, and it’s quite heartwarming to think of the history Taylor has with RC, for it was he who designed her Speak Now tour opening number.
Evermore cape moment
Hearing all of the evermore songs on this tour really just made me so happy. But oh how the evermore outfit made me happy. The outfit perfectly embodied evermore, with Taylor donning a mustard custom ruffle dress by etro, a cute bohemian inspired company. To finish off the magical look, she chose a stunning velvet green cape, which kinda also gave a witchy vibes. All hail our great and glorious ruler, Miss Taylor Swift. Cult vibes, anyone?
Enchanted princess gown
This absolutely phenomenal custom ballgown was by designer Nicole + Felicia, who is the same designer who worked with Taylor for outfits for the ‘I Bet You Think About me’ music video. I genuinely couldn’t take my eyes off it. It was absolutely incredible. While I understand the dress was probably so heavy it took a team of twenty to lift it over Taylor’s head and thus made walking impossible, I think I would have died to have seen this dress swish around the stage. I always used to feel so much like a princess if I had a skirt/dress that gave good spinning power.
Folklore chic
You know that sound on TikTok where it’s like ‘no, you don’t understand, I’m obsessed with it’? That’s how I feel about all the folklore costumes. One of the things my queen is so amazing at is matching her outfits so perfectly for the era she’s performing. She had a few different dresses so far this tour – ranging from a mauve toned chiffon gown to tiered cream gowns with cap sleeves and cape sleeve and even going so far as to mix all these features into a Chantilly lace which combines the mauve and cap/cape sleeve detail. These dresses are from Alberto Ferretti, custom of course, and feel so perfect for folklore – if you need more convincing I urge you to watch the videos of her running around stage to august in this.
That Vigilante Sh!t outfit
I simply couldn’t make an Era’s tour outfit post and not include this look. Like a lot of outfits on this tour she has a few different variations of this number. At it’s core it is a sparkly, bodysuit with jewelled tassels that drape ever so elegantly over her hips, all of which is custom Oscar De la Renta. The outfit has been worn in both black (Oscar de la Renta) and navy (custom by Zuhair Murad) and she even went so far as to add a custom ZM sparkly navy thigh garter to the mix. Oh, to have that kind of money..!
The crimson red heels
Special mention of course has to go of course to the crimson soled heels and boots worn every night by Taylor. Christian Louboutin was the official shoe designer for the Reputation stadium tour and this is no different. So far we’ve seen a bunch of models, from the ‘Gael’ worn during Midnights era, the ‘Cate’ which are a more country western fit for the Fearless era and a take on the ‘Eleanor Botta’ boot, which feature a chic and adorable high low curve.
