Delaware Weather

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Delaware chapter.

If we wanted to see four seasons in a week, we’d watch it on Netflix. Delaware students do not want to see them in the form of Delaware weather on the way to class. This spring semester at UD has been full of seasonal changes and requires students to keep all their wardrobe options on deck just in case of sudden snow or sunny skies.

First of all, it’s a known fact among out sudent body that it always rains on Tuesdays. You can always count on colorful umbrellas and slippery red bricks all over campus on the second day of the school week.

Once we all dry off from the rain, we’re blessed with some really nice 60 degree “daging” weather on the weekends. No student is complaining when we are given nice weather that allow us to shed our coats and enjoy a beer in a backyard among friends.

Delaware students should not get too comfortable though because before we know it, the snow creeps up on us just to remind us that winter is not over just yet.

Before we can even build a proper snowman, the cycle repeats and we are left trying to guess what to next expect when we step outside.

So keep your coats close by, rain boots by the door and your sandals on deck, spring semester and Delaware weather are officially in full swing and it likes to keep you on your toes!
