I love the winter season. Having hot chocolates and warm foods, wearing trench coats and boots, snuggling inside a warm blanket with my favorite book or show are some things I live for.Â
But apart from the wonderful list of things I just mentioned, another thing that makes the chilly season fun and a bit comical is the extent to which all of us go just to feel warm and cozy, no matter how much we deny doing it in public. So, without further ado, let us dig deep into the ditzy and hysterical things we do!
MATCHING OUR HAIRWASHING DAYS WITH SUNNY WINTER DAYS
This is something that my childhood bestie does and honestly, I thought she is the only one doing this, but it turns out a lot of people prefer washing their hair on sunny days so that they can sit under the warmth of the sun afterwards.
Now that I think about it, the idea isnât half bad because who doesnât want to feel warm during winters?
TAKING AGES TO GET OUT OF BED
If you say that you have never done this in your entire life, you are lying because letâs be real. There is no comfort as heavenly, as warm, and as homey as your bed.Â
I dread getting up in the mornings all year round, but my apprehension of waking up early increased 100 times during winters.Â
NOT LEAVING THE âCOMFY SPOTâÂ
Let me give you a scenario:
Suppose youâre sitting on a sofa and your seat has gotten very very warm, but you feel thirsty. Now you have to get up and fetch water from the kitchen, knowing very well that by the time you come back, your spot wonât remain warm.Â
So, you laze around, donât give up and wait for someone around you to get up and hand you that water bottle.
Relatable, isnât it?Â
WEARING THAT ONE FAVORITE OVERSIZED HOODIE 24*7
Not gonna lie, this is probably one of my favorite things about winter. I just love wearing hoodies. And even though I have a cupboard full of them, I tend to alternate between two the most. Donât judge me, I just like the softer ones more.Â
So, these were the four ludicrous yet slightly comical things that most of us do during winters.
But hey, thereâs nothing wrong in accepting the fact that, as humans, we tend to do dorky stuff.
After all, what is life without a few habits to laugh about?
