Open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Lynd Fruit Farm is located just 10 minutes away in Pataskala. Not only do they have over 15 varieties of apples available to pick, they also have a market (apple butter, anyone?), a corn maze, and a pumpkin patch.

2.    Watch a Sunday Polo Match
Located on the grounds of the Bryn Du Mansion, Sunday polo is a Granville tradition. For those who don’t know, polo is essentially soccer on horseback. Two teams of four compete to score goals in the opposing team’s goalpost. Check it out every September Sunday at 2 p.m.

Grab your friends and participate in this classic Halloween tradition. Dead Acres/Haunted Hoochie is 20 minutes away in Pataskala and admission is is $25. Opens for the season on September 25th!

4.    Reconnect With Your Inner Kid at Boo at the Zoo
Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until Halloween, the Columbus Zoo will be putting on Boo at the Zoo, a Halloween festival involving costumes, pumpkins, and of course, animals! What’s not to love? Admission is $15.

5.    Get in the Halloween Spirit at HighBall Halloween
Founded in 2008, HighBall is a “costume couture fashion show” featuring high fashion Halloween costumes made by local designers. Proceeds of HighBall go towards the Short North Alliance which works to improve the local arts community. The fashion show is Saturday, October 25th and admission is $5 at the door.Â
