It can be hard to motivate yourself to study sometimes. Â Finding a good balance between the stark silence in the library and the distracting chaos in the common room can also be a challenge. Â A good way to focus is through music. Â Here are some good acoustic choices to keep you focused and motivated through the whole study session:
Anthem Lights
Â
Their acoustic covers are relaxing and fun, with anything from Taylor Swift and One Direction, to pop mash-ups.  Some favorites are their covers of Justin Bieber’s “As Long As You Love Me,” and Bruno Mars’ “Treasure/When I Was Your Man.”
Â
Kris Allen’s “Heartless”
He first caught our attention on Season 8 of American Idol and this is his most recognizable song from his time on the show.  The reconstruction of the song is creative and it’s fun to listen to how Allen changes it up. Â
Â
“Somebody That I Used to Know” by Boyce Avenue
The original song was catchy enough to begin with, but this cover will have you swaying along with the beat. Â Still low-key enough to not be too distracting, it will have you relaxed and having a good time all at once.
“Can’t Hold Us” by Alex G and Tyler Ward
Â
The cool vibes these two artists put off in their cover of Macklemore’s “Can’t Hold Us” is unbelievable.  They have a good energy between them and they just have fun with the song!  Still relaxing because of the acoustic spin they put on it, it’s a song you’ll have on repeat for your whole study session.

Motivation to study can be difficult, but if you create the right environment for yourself with some good tunes that both energize you and keep you focused, you will have a much easier time with it.
