Insomnia Cookies. They’re everywhere. From the Twitter hashtag and Instagram feed to their little white flyers litterling campus, this new craze is unavoidable. The basic idea of Insomnia Cookies offers the ability to have delicious, fresh-baked cookies delivered to you until 3 a.m. You can order the cookies for delivery online, or visit the cookie shop in person at 2260 N. Lincoln. The store has a very relaxed atmosphere with friendly employees who generously offer their suggestions on the best cookies to try.

Here at HC DePaul, we’re big fans of visiting the shop for a late-night study break, but for those who can’t escape the library but still have a sweet tooth, Insomina’s online ordering system is the perfect way to get your fix of warm and perfectly gooey cookies. Upon ordering, you can refresh the page to view the status of your cookies from the time you place your oder all the way until it’s delivered to you, giving you a minute-by-minute update of your cookie. 

 
If late night delivery isn’t enough to get you hooked, the day-to-day deals sure will do the trick. This week they are offering three Chocolate Chunk cookies for $2. While the grand opening deals that have been spreading around campus have expired, the employees at Insomnia have hinted to us that there will be several other phenominal offers to come in the near future.
 
At HerCampus, our favorite treat is anything a la mode, but the Oatmeal Raisin with vanilla ice cream has to be number one for us. Be warned though, the ice cream does not come in small portions so sharing with a friend or two is definitely advised!
