DePauw always has wonderful events and activities for students and faculty members to partake in. I love that there is such a variety of activities and events offered, there is really no way to be bored on campus. One of these great events is called, ArtsFest. ArtsFest brings different “writers, artists, thinkers and performers” from the DePauw, Greencastle community, and from out of town, to our campus. The events began October 28th and go to November 8th. Some examples of the events are, Feminist Disruptions and Enhanced Subjectivities: Women Grafitti Artists’ Transformation of the Chilean Urban Landscape, Jazz at the Duck and Media Fellows speakers: David ’73 and Julie Chambers. ArtsFest has something for everyone and is a great way to connect with other DePauw students and faculty through music and other artistic forms. Everyone should take advantage of these events. Even if you don’t think you will love it, you should go and you might be surprised at how much you enjoy yourself.Â

This is the 14th annual ArtsFest celebration at DePauw University. Past themes include, Art and Activism, Art and Truth and Art and Laughter. For more information about this years ArtsFest, click here.
