Pat Lyons, arrived at the interview right after his inter-squad baseball game, looking tanned and slightly sweaty. Ladies if you are looking for an athletic man, look no further than this weeks Campus Cutie.
HerCampus: So Patrick or should I call you pat?
Pat Lyons: Either is fine, most people call me Pat.
Â
HC: Okay, Pat, what would our readers want to know about you?
PL: I’m a senior econ major, originally from St. Louis but my family moved to Milwaukee last year. I am the second baseman on the baseball team and a Phi Delt.
Â
HC: Do you know what you want to do with your econ major.
PL: I want to get a job.
Â
HC: Where would you like to get a job?
PL: (laughs) Either with health care or commercial real estate because I had an internship with Simon Property Group in Indianapolis over the summer.
Â
HC: Oh cool. How did you get that internship?
PL: That’s a difficult question. It was basically because I had a friend at DePauw that knew the vice president and he just offered me an internship for the summer
Â
HC: Well that’s lucky. So being a senior at DePauw, you know all the ins and outs of the University, what is your favorite part about campus?
PL: Favorite part?
HC: Yeah, or thing…
PL: Probably how small the campus is and how close everything is. I know some people don’t like that, but I love being near or within a five-minute walk of everyone.
Â
HC: If you were taking someone on a date here, where would you take them?
PL: Hmm, probably to Casa Grande because who doesn’t like Mexican food?
Â
HC: I love mexican food. Since you are the campus cutie, our readers are going to want you to describe your perfect girl.
PL: Haha, I can do that for you! It is someone who is athletic, fun to be around, has a pretty smile, and an easygoing personality. I really don’t have a specific type. Honestly, my perfect girl is someone who I can hang out with and be myself around.
Â
HC: How do you think you would approach this girl at a party?
PL: I would probably introduce myself and get a flirty conversation going and see where it goes from there.
Â
HC: How would get this flirty conversation going?
PL: If I told you that, I would probably have to kill you.
Â
HC: Ha okay well then how about this, what would you say is your best attribute?
PL: My blue eyes and my charming personality.
HC: And if people were looking for your blue eyes and your charming personality, where would they find you?
PL: Up in Strasma 3, baseball field, Lilly, any academic building, or the bars on Friday nights.
Â
HC: Thank you, any last words to our readers?
PL: My campus crush is Chloe Jacob and her roommate, her name; I really don’t know…I’m hoping my dazzling blue eyes will win them over.
