At some point in the year it’s great to take a little break from campus food and indulge in a nice meal. Although Greencastle is small, there are several delicious restaurants that are fun to go to! It’s always good to mix it up once in a while, so here are a few of the restaurants in Greencastle you can choose from:Â
Â
Â
Almost HomeÂ
Â
Always a popular choice during parent’s weekend, Almost Home has many different choices of meals that are probably some of the closet things to a home cooked meal DePauw students can get.Â
Â
Chief’s
Located just down the street from Almost Home in the town square, Chief’s can sometimes be forgotten. They serve great southern style food and the wait staff is always friendly.Â
Â
The DuckÂ
The Duck is a popular restaurant located in the DePauw Inn. Their menu has a wide variety of options, and if you’re over 21 there’s a fully stocked bar to choose from as well.Â
Â
Marvin’sÂ
Always a popular Friday and Saturday night spot, Marvin’s is known for it’s MacBites and GCB’s (garlic cheeseburgers). It has a fun environment and the perfect spot to go with friends.Â
Â
Myer’s MarketÂ
Myer’s Market is a homey little deli located right on Washington St. It serves fresh, all-natural lunch meat and several produce options. There’s also nice outdoor seating available for warm spring days.Â
