TOMS’ mission is that for every pair of shoes purchased, a pair of shoes will be donated to a child in need. On top of becoming a major fashion statement, TOMS have become an international movement as well. People around the world are creating awareness for the cause by participating in clubs, as well as going a day without shoes. Although many DePauw students have rocked the ‘Classic,’ TOMS also makes boots, heels, and even styles for men! From a sparkly pink pair with jeans, to a muted black pair with sweats, girls across campus have been helping the cause, while also making fashion statements.
